Massive Failure, or Incubating Success?

The Fox says, to no one in particular: I set up this blog about a month ago because I was looking for an outlet for one of my passions - counterfactual history. I was hoping to have a forum independent of my personal weblog, Mansfield Fox, where I could sketch various alternate timelines and muse at great length about the philosophical and historiographic issues raised by counterfactual history without annoying people who find all this stuff unspeakably dull or silly. I even had hopes that, in time, this might become a group blog in which other wayward geeks with similar interests could convene to debate such important issues as whether the Roman Empire could beat the Aztecs in a fight, sheltered from the slings and arrows of a world that understands them not.

And then, for a month, I used this space principally as a platform from which to post photos on Mansfield Fox. The best-laid plans of mice and men...

Well, it's never too late to turn over a new leaf. Particularly when one's already designed a snazzy graphic for the header. So, let's give it another go, shall we? I'll begin with posting links to some of the counterfactual history stuff I posted over at Mansfield Fox; original material will follow as I'm so inspired.
